Scope and ContentChildhood drawings and a short story by William De Morgan. Some of the material appears to have been created by his sister Elizabeth Alice and his mother Sophia, as indicated by a note found amongst the material reading 'drawings chiefly very early efforts by W(illiam) De Morgan, which Evelyn might like to see with a very few by Alice and mother'. Many of the drawings are in pencil, although a few are in colour. Some have mathematical calculations on the reverse. Also contains an untitled story written by William De Morgan, beginning with the line 'A boy and a dog went to a park' (undated). Includes a drawing of man drawn on the back of a restaurant menu from 1920, the artist must be someone other than William De Morgan, who died in 1917
