On one side of the outside of the case are engravings of the signatures of scientific investigators.
On the reverse of the outside of the case are the engraved names of mediums with the engraved signatures of D.D. Home, Rudi Schneider, Leonora E. Piper and Mina Crandon (Margery).
On the right-hand side within the case are engraved the names of the signatures which appear on the outside and on the left-hand side is the engraving - 'To Harry Price Esq. founder and honorary director of the National Laboratory of Psychical Research London as an appreciation of his efforts in successfully demonstrating before official science the verities of the séance room 29th August 1930'
There is a brown leather case and a grey presentation box.
