Scope and ContentThis sub-series contains publicity material and newspaper reviews mostly relating to Martin Miller's [MM] performing arts activities before the German annexation of Austria in March 1938. The earliest record is a photocopy of a theatre programme from 1921; the latest material is a flyer for a Karl Kraus recitation event in February 1938. The material covers MM's work in theatres in Vienna and regional theatres mainly of Austria and Czechoslovakia, but also of Poland and France. Many of the newspaper reviews are photocopies. Note that some of the material in the album in Miller 6/1/1 relates to MM's time at the Jüdischer Kulturbund in 1938-1939 and also to his work at Das Laterndl, the exile theatre in London.
