Scope and ContentThis file contains a photocopy of the programme for Das Laterndl's first show, "Unterwegs", which was staged at 124 Westbourne Terrace, London W2 from 21 June 1939 until the end of August 1939. It lists nine individual items within the show: 1) 'Five o'clock im Himmel' by Albert Fuchs and HF Königsgarten with music by Kurt Manschinger; 2) 'Lied des einfachen Menschen' by Jura Soyfer with music by Kurt Manschinger; 3) 'Bow Street' by Rudolf Spitz; 4) 'Wiener Ringelspiel' by HF Königsgarten with music by Kurt Manschinger; 5) 'Pfüi di Gott' (an old Viennese song) 6) 'Memories' by HF Königsgarten; 7) 'Der blühende Garten' by Franz Hartl with music by Kurt Manschinger; 8) 'Ein' feste Burg' by Martin Luther 9) 'Musikalischer Tag' by Hans Weigel with music by Walter Drix. The director was Martin Miller; Kurt Manschinger played the piano; the decor was by Hert Ostersetzer; set design was by Carl Josefovics amd costumes were by Kathe Berl and Hertha Winter. The cast members were Sigurd Lohde, Jaro Klüger, Fritz Schrecker, Lona Cross, Sylvia Steiner, Martin Miller, Marianne Walla, Franz Hartl, Grete Hartwig and Margaret March.
