Scope and ContentThis is a programme for an evening event hosted by the Austrian Circle for Arts and Science called "Eternal Austria" ("Ewiges Österreich") at the Armitage Hall, 224 Great Portland Street [London] W1 on Wednesday 24 May 1939 at 8.00 pm. The welcome was given by Baron Guido Fuchs and the opening speech was given by Wickham Steed. The programme consisted of poetry, prose and drama readings given by exiles such as Peter Ihle [later Peter Illing], Lili Hammerschlag, Richard Duschinsky and Martin Miller, and a performance of Mozart's Sonata in G major by Professor Oscar Adler and Gertrude Zerner. The programme also states that "Das Laterndl|" will open in mid June at 124/126 Westbourne Terrace W2.
