Scope and Content22 oral history interview audio recordings carried out by Richard Dove in the course of his research in Exile Studies and anti-fascist theatre, mainly with German-speaking exiles active in the arts. Interviewees include Georg Knepler, Otto Tausig, Lorle Louis-Hoffmann, Walter Nessler, Andre Asriel and Richard Stourac. In addition there are several interviews with British figures who had personal, political, or cultural connections with this generation of exiles, including André van Gyseghem, Fenner Brockway, and Joan Rodker.

Conditions governing accessOpen. At least 48 hours' notice is required for research visits. Most of the tapes need digitisation before they can be accessed.
