Scope and ContentThis file contains 4 black and white photographic prints of a production of a sketch by Rudolf Spitz, "Tiefer geht's nimmer!" ("It never goes deeper!") by the Austrian exile theatre company, Das Laterndl. The sketch was staged as part of the Laterndl's 13th show "No Orchids for Mr Hitler" at the company's home venue at 69 Eton Avenue, Swiss Cottage, London, premièring on 8 October 1942. The photographs shows Hanne Norbert as Mrs Hi-Hi; Hans [Johann] Müller as Lord Haw-Haw; Fritz Schrecker as 'Der Teufel' (the devil). The other actors shown are Helen Kennedy, Hans Spitzer, Jaro Klüger and Erich Freund. Includes 1 negative of 1 of the images and 2 negatives (on the same piece of sheet film as Miller 3/1/2/1) of the other image.
