Scope and ContentThis is the four pages (out of an unknown total), which constitutes the first two scenes of a five-scene play by Hugo F. Königsgarten. Each scene is set in a different European capital, of which the first three are London, Paris and Berlin. The dialogue is in English and German. The play was performed as part of the Laterndl's third Kleinkunst (political cabaret) show, "Von Adam bis Adolf" in February 1940. It was directed by Martin Miller and the characters (or "dark figures", as the programme describes them) were played by unspecified members of the Laterndl theatre company.
